The Manor House is our B&B, which is located 150 yards from the Red Lion, Where you are welcome to Eat and drink. Our Head Chef and son-in-law Olivier deserves a special mention. Along with a talented and enthusiastic kitchen brigade his combination of individuality and skill has ensured retention of our AA Rosette.  Imaginative, seasonally changing menus, using only the finest of ingredients have given The Red Lion a 'dining room with a difference'.  An outstanding wine list with a wide choice from both the Old and New Worlds complements the excellent food.  Our newly refurbished restaurant with oak floors and panelling, log burning stove and beautiful views of the River Wharfe and Fell.

One of the great things about visiting the Yorkshire Dales is the village life.  Villages just like Burnsall, picturesque and pleasant, with stone houses, and village greens.  Shop on the Green is exactly how it sounds. It is the village shop for this lovely village, but is so much more than you might expect! We are a mini supermarket catering for the needs of the local inhabitants, but we also have plenty for the visitors that Burnsall attracts each year.  We have freshly baked bread, cakes and flapjacks in the shop most days, giving the whole place that wonderful homely smell.
