“Trip to walk the 3 peaks”
I found this lovely hotel, perfect location and very nice interiors, having spoken to the landlord prior to arrival, we had a table booked in the restaurant for the Friday night, very busy so pleased we had booked a table, food was delicious and think locally sourced. the rooms we had were perfect, only disadvantage was trying to walking up the stairs after our mammoth walk on the Saturday, would highly recommend, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and even laid out continental breakfast for our early start on the Saturday.
“Still great on our second visit”
Came in February and just visited again. Had another lovely stay, great food, breakfast sets you up for the day. Staff really friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. Great base for exploring the area . Will be back.
Stopped off for an evening meal after climbing Ingleborough and a taste sensation it was too! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food arrived quickly after being ordered and the tasting was amazing. For a pub, I suppose you could say that the food is "punching way above its weight" the depth of flavours way above what I have tasted in some more high end restaurants. I cannot recommend this restaurant any more highly, If you appreciate good food and are in the area do not pass by!!!
“Perfect Yorkshire B&B”
We arrived at the Craven Arms to a very warm welcome by Jonathon and Lyn the owners and enjoyed locally brewed ales in the cosy bar filled with locals and tourists. Our rooms were perfect and our evening meal even more so......one of our party had the warm haloumi salad and couldn't stop raving about it, the sausage and mash were equally delicious and although there wasn't any room for desert we managed to squeeze in the sticky toffee pudding which did not disappoint. The full English breakfast was the best and the service warm, relaxed and professional. Really great coffee too! We will definitely be back to this great little jem, thankfully the hiking helped burn off some of the great food.
