With two restaurants located in Gathurst, near Wigan and the City of Lancaster, Elephant Restaurants are the epitome of high quality, exquisite Indian cuisine with genuinely warm and welcoming service, all within beautiful comptemporary interiors.  In response to changing tastes, our modern Indian dishes are lighter, lower in fat and calories and make great use of vegetables, pulses and grains that have a central place in traditional authentic Indian food. The dishes created by our experienced and skill chef's use wholesome, fresh and where possible, local and organic ingredients.

You cannot visit the historic city of Lancaster without experiencing Bistro 26, Lancaster’s perfect hideaway.  Now is a brilliant time of year for fresh localproduce. I am spoilt for choice on ingredients with lots of my favourites in season. This year we are growing alot of our own vegetables including carrots, beetroot, peas, beans and wonderful new potatoes. You can’t beat straight from the soil!!!  I would like to recommend you try the lamb which is reared just for us on a local farm at Scotforth and is melt in the mouth tasty.

Chef/proprietor Adam Ventress welcomes you to Meeting House Restaurantsituated on Lancaster's historic Meeting House Lane. Close to the train station and a stones throw from the town centre, we are situated in an ideal location for both the commuter and the local!  Our emphasis is on Modern British Cuisine, and providing a taste of some of the quality produce from the region. All food is freshly prepared on the premises by myself, including all the desserts, and we are committed to using fresh seasonal produce from local suppliers and producers.

On 12th February 2002, a new concept of dining was introduced to the City of Lancaster. Formerly known to locals as the Peacock Chinese Restaurant the new owners of Miyabi Japanese Restaurant took the plunge and decided to introduce a new blend of Japanese style cuisine to the city.  Being the first to offer Japanese cuisine in Lancaster and after trading for just over a year, Miyabi has already acquired a healthy regular customer base not only locally, but has also attracted diners from nearby surrounding villages and towns, including Cumbria, Preston and Blackpool.

Located on Lancaster's very own 'left bank' we offer dreamily, creamily and supremely fine French cooking in a quayside spot.  Bijoux with a hint of bo-ho.
