The unspoilt village of Bishop Wilton nestles at the foot of Garrowby Hill on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. Bishop Wilton offers an excellent base for walking, cycling and riding within beautiful surroundings.  Ian & Lisa and family would like to welcome customers old and new to the Fleece Inn, Bishop Wilton. The Fleece has a wealth of atmosphere with open fires and accommodation in a quaint village in the Yorkshire Wolds. We offer cask ales, including Black Sheep, Tetley’s and John Smith’’s and a forever changing locally brewed guest ale, a home made menu (using the freshest local produce.)

We warmly welcome you to The Gait Inn, a charming 16th-c traditional country pub and the perfect place to eat while cycling the Way of the Roses.  Located on route and only 2 miles from Pocklington in the picturesque village of Millington. You will find a warm welcome, freshly prepared home cooked food, real ales and a friendly service.  Home cooked meals are served Tuesday to Sunday evenings and lunchtimes on Friday to Sunday.  Throughout the summer you can bask in the Wolds sunshine, at our outside tables and enjoy the views, the atmosphere in this idyllic location.

Situated on the old Roman road, now the A1079, midway between York and Beverley, the Yorkway makes an ideal location for holidays.
