Route Outline

Passing through some of the countries finest landscapes, with a total distance of 170 miles, Way of the Roses coast to coast cycle route could be best described as challenging, exciting, and extremely fulfilling. The Way of the Roses consists of the following terrain: traffic-free paths, on-road cycle lanes, country lanes and quieter roads.  Starting on the west coast of Morecambe, and finishing on the East coast of Bridlington, or vice versa, the route has plenty to offer for all levels of cyclists.  When planning your tour you will find a great selection of cycle friendly, Inns, Pubs, Hotels, Cafes, and Restaurants amongst other necessary amenities.
