The George and Dragon is situated in the historic village of Wray, in the beautiful Lune Valley. The village of Wray is well known for its attractive buildings and history, and its beautiful location at the junction of the Roeburn and Hindburn rivers in the Lune Valley. The surrounding countryside is a very popular area for walkers and cyclists. The Wray Scarecrow Festival is held in May each year. The George and Dragon is a genuine village local with great food. There are two bar areas, welcoming fires for cold weather and a separate dining room. Pub games available and a regular quiz night on Wednesday.
